Benefits of Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

Hands-Free Calling

Use Bluetooth® wireless technology to dial and receive incoming phone calls hands-free within a range of 30 feet of the receiver. Echo cancellation technology delivers clear incoming audio through the stereo’s speakers while high quality external wired microphones on every JVC Bluetooth® Receiver ensure that your callers can hear your voice loud and clear.

Voice Dialing

Speak the name of a phone book contact and the JVC receiver will dial them for you.*

Phonebook Transfer

Your cell phone's contacts are shown directly on the JVC receiver's display. Simply select a contact using the stereo's controls and dial - no need to pick up your cell phone.*

*Requires a PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile) enabled cell phone. Consult your cell phone owner's manual to confirm that it includes PBAP. This feature is not compatible with the KS-BTA100 Wireless Bluetooth adapter.

Easy Switching Between Cell phones

Pair up to five separate devices and use on-screen menus to switch between them. Single-DIN Dual USB models KD-R820BT, KD-R720, KD-A925BT, and KD-A725 allow two phones to pair simultaneously, then indicate which phone is receiving a call by distinct ringers and flashing colors.

Private Mode Feature

Easily switch from handset conversation to hands-free operation with one key operation. Phone calls transfer to the handset automatically when the car’s ignition is turned off.

Wireless Audio Streaming

Transmit lossless high quality sound wirelessly into JVC Bluetooth® receivers from your Bluetooth® enabled cell phone, digital audio player, or other enabled devices. You can even PLAY/PAUSE and skip tracks wirelessly from the stereo's controls or wireless remote control.

CD Receivers with DUAL USB and Bluetooth® Wireless Technology

JVC offers the best in-car media and wireless flexibility with Dual USB CD receivers. In-Dash CD receivers with Dual USB feature both front and rear USB ports which allow two devices to be connected at the same time. This allows connection of two iPod®/iPhone® devices, Portable Hard Drives, USB Memory Devices, Digital Audio Players, and Bluetooth® Wireless technology.

Dual USB receivers with Bluetooth® include a USB adapter "Dongle" that can be connected to either the front or rear USB port. Once connected, this adapter acts as the antenna, receiver, and transmitter for Bluetooth® enabling full wireless cell phone functions through the CD receiver such as: Hands-Free Calling, Phonebook access for your phone, Bluetooth® wireless audio streaming, and more. When an incoming phone call is received, the stereo will automatically pause the song you are listening to, display the caller ID on-screen, and send an audible ringer through your car speakers. Even the faceplate color changes to a flashing illumination to let you know that someone is calling in. All JVC Dual USB Receivers with Bluetooth® also include an external wired microphone for optimal voice sensitivity, noise cancellation, and positioning.
