Updatable for Pairing with new Cell Phones
JVC Bluetooth models are compatible with a wide variety of current Manufacturer’s cell phone models. If you upgrade your cell phone to a new model, JVC provides free updates for pairing with newer cell phones too with through an easy-to-use CD-ROM upgrade site:
- If pairing fails, log on to JVC’s Bluetooth information page here
- Select your phone from the listing of compatible models and download the associated update file.*
- Install the update file onto a CD-R Disc and insert it into the Bluetooth stereo.
- The JVC stereo will automatically update to work with your new cell phone.
* If your phone is not listed, an option is available provide feedback regarding your phone model, then receive an email once an update becomes available.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming
Listen to your music wirelessly from your iPod*, Cell Phone, or Bluetooth enabled device through your stereo system. JVC stereos with Bluetooth capability support devices enabled for Certified Bluetooth A2DP (Streaming) and AVRCP (Remote Control and Steaming) protocols*.
* Requires AA-T100BT Bluetooth Wireless Audio Streaming adapter.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming Adapter for iPod
AA-T100BT
Transmitting High Quality Sound, this device connects to most iPods and provides Bluetooth wireless audio streaming for JVC Bluetooth enabled stereos. PLAY, PAUSE, and SKIP features can be also be controlled directly from the stereo. The AA-T100BT uses the iPod’s internal battery power so there is no need for charging and is a perfect fit to iPod Nano 2nd Generation models.
Hands-Free Calling (KD-AVX44, KD-BT11)
- Make and receive calls from your cell phone directly through the stereo
- Holds up to 50 phone book entries, 6 Preset Phone Numbers, 10 Received Calls, and 10 Redial entries internally
- Voice Dial enables immediate dialing by simply saying the name of the call recipient**
- Text Message Notification lets you know if you have incoming SMS messages waiting to be read on your cell phone
Add-On Bluetooth adapter
KS-BTA200
Works with all JVC “Ready for Bluetooth” in-dash stereos to provide Audio Streaming Capability, Hands-free phone call dialing and answering, Voice Dial capability*, and Incoming text message display. The KS-BTA200 will also transfer up to 5,000 phone book numbers into its internal memory for on-screen access and dialing.
