iHeartRadio is a free app that allows listeners to easily access more than 1,500 Live Radio Stations from across the country or create their own Custom Stations from a catalog of more than 450,000 artists and 18 million songs. Users can also quickly browse through a directory of radio stations by genre and location, or can scan stations to find their favorite. JVC’s iHeartRadio integration provides in-dash access to a variety of other features including thumbs up/thumbs down, discovery tuner and more.

Users can download the made-for-driving “iHeartRadio for Auto” (iHeartAuto) app to their smartphone for use with compatible JVC Multimedia stereos KW-V30BT and KW-V50BT. These stereos feature either a 6.1” or 7” touch-panel LCD display and allow listeners to see the Title, Artist Name, Album Art, Station Name and Logo of what’s currently playing, as well as operate the Play, Stop, Live Scan, and Pause commands. Users can also navigate both Live and Custom Stations straight from the receiver’s controls as well as create Custom Stations instantly from the current song playing.
