Two-Way Control for iPod®/iPhone®*

    Trapster

    Trapster is a social networking mobile application that maps out and alerts users in real time to the presence of live police speed traps, red light cameras, speed cameras, and areas where police often hide. Use Trapster while driving with JVC's External mode to receive voice command warnings when you are approaching these locations. Trapster even allows iPod playback while driving and will automatically mute temporarily for voice warnings. You can even select the style of speaker that tells you about each warning.

  • JVC’s DriveSmart Application includes a “Drive Recorder” to record routes that you are traveling on currently so you can recall them later on your iPhone. When connected, you can start and stop when DriveSmart records your routes using the In-Dash CD Receiver’s Controls.

  • DriveSmart also lets you send a message to anyone you would like with a link showing where you’re currently located using Google Maps. Once you arrive at the destination, you can send your message directly from the receiver’s controls.
